As a new mom - and an old business owner - I was a little daunted by trying to build up my clientelle again after a 2 year hiatus. I worked for a year with the "usual" advertising options but found business quite slow. After advertising with The Newsy Neighbour for just 3 months I am now busy enough to open up 2 more days a week!

I will have been in business for a year in about Aug.  Half of my leads have come from Newsy and half from referral.  This summer I am going to cancel all phone book ads and likely the one other ad that I run consistently, and only run in Newsy.  I made enough money to pay off my equipment and now the company makes enough to pay for its own advertising.  I'll start taking a wage this year. I have to admit that I am a little surprised myself at how successful advertising in Newsy has been.

My business has been advertising regularly in The Newsy Neighbor for the past six months or more.  I can highly recommend this publication as a great vehicle to reach a large number of readers at a very cost-effective price.
